hej, how great you are here!

At calling sheep - a shop located in a red barn on the island of Gotland in Sweden - you will find exquisite yarns that you won't find just anywhere – carefully selected by me personally. They are released on special dates and all are limited. The centrepiece is Pommernglück, a very special yarn from Pomeranian sheep on the island of Rügen.

You can also expect carefully curated knitting kits, an inspiring podcast that covers everything important in life and a growing online community where creative minds meet for virtuale knitnights, share ideas and make friends. Best of all are the knitting retreats which take place on the islands Rügen (Germany) and Gotland (Sweden).

Make yourself comfortable, browse through the yarns and find your next heartfelt project.

Pommernglück

Native to the island of Rügen since time immemorial, the Pomeranian sheep can still be found here today. Especially on the Zickerschen Mountains on beautiful Mönchgut. With panoramic views of the Bodden and the Baltic Sea, the sheep live a very idyllic life there. The wool from the rough-wool Pomeranian sheep is processed entirely in Germany (except for the wool washing, which unfortunately has to be done in a neighbouring country) and is available in three qualities of POMMERNGLÜCK!
