Huldra is a 2-ply, thin and beautiful worsted yarn made from long-fiber, soft wool that feels pleasant against the skin. It's soft enough for baby clothes and perfect for any lightweight garment that you want to wear next to the skin. It's also perfect for combining with a thin yarn like Le petit silk & mohair for fluffy and exclusive knitting projects.

Gauge on 10 cm:

• 30 sts on 3 mm needles
• 32 sts on 2,5 mm needles
• Together with 1 thread of silk/mohair on 3,5 mm needles: 21 sts

The factory's roots date back to 1898, and some of the machines are over 100 years old. In 2013, the wool factory was granted Économusée status, and visitors can take a guided tour and see how wool is transformed from raw material into finished product.
