Le Petit Silk & Mohair by Biches & Bûches is a fine blend of 30% mulberry silk and 70% super kid mohair from Italy. You can combine Le Petit Silk & Mohair with one of our pure new wool yarns to add a fluffy touch to a Nordic look, or knit it alone in two or three strands for cardigans, sweaters, hats, and scarves. Mohair is the wool of the Angora goat. The hair of the Angora goat is long, silky smooth, and curly. The silk adds strength and shine when the fibers are brushed. This results in a soft, light, and airy yarn with a fluffy appearance.

Gauge:

• 32 sts = 10 cm (one thread on 2,5mm needle)
• 19 sts x 30 r = 10 cm (on 4mm needle and together with 1 thread of Fingering yarn)
• 22 sts x 30 r = 10 cm (on 3,5mm needle and together with 1 thread of Fingering yarn)
