Pattern details

The Sheep trail cowl is a gentle celebration of the sheep, that through the ages has provided us with wool to keep us warm; wool, warmth and nourishment. Resilient, calm and beautiful. Gentle but though and deeply in harmony with the landscape; mirroring it and whispering its secrets in every fiber.

This traditional, simple lace pattern symbolizes the sheep trails over mountains, along hillsides, seashores and over fields. Trails to follow, trails that takes us onwards and forwards. A cowl to wear as you venture into lands and times unknown; warm, confident and excited.
