The half fisherman's rib cardigan is worked seamlessly from top to bottom, starting with the upper back, which is worked in rows up to the underarms. Then stitches are picked up from the shoulder edges for the front pieces, which are worked flat while the neckline is shaped. The stitches of the front and back pieces are joined on the same circular needle and worked flat to the hem. The stitches for the sleeves are picked up at the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round using either the magic loop technique or double-pointed needles. Finally, the neckline and button band are finished with a double-knit edge.
