Mister Cardigan is worked from the bottom up in rows. You work the back piece and front pieces each separately and crochet it together in the end to produce a strong seam on the sides to give the cardigan structure. The arms are worked separately in the round. After the arms are joined to the main piece and the side seams are closed, you work the collar and the pockets.
