Description

The Asterie sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. The stitches for the neckline are cast on, then short rows are worked to lengthen the back. Next, the structured yoke is worked, and more short rows are worked to slope the neckline forward. Once the yoke is finished, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked in the round to the cuff. For the body, you can choose whether to work the sweater with or without horizontal bust darts and/or a tapered body. Finally, the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.
